Opponents of the project don’t want to dredge at all. ![]() Fields and her team have been studying the feasibility of dredging Nauset Estuary since 2015. They’ve examined the composition of dredge spoils to be removed, considered construction methods and mitigation efforts, studied possible impacts to shorebirds and developed preliminary cost estimates should the town go ahead with the project. ![]()
